The Tea Room's History...
Serving tea since 2001

The Pink Bicycle Tea Room was created by Mrs.
Donna Lane in 2001. It was first known as the
Victorian Lane Tea Room, but one day when she
was out antiquing with her husband, they
stumbled across two pink bicycles and the AHA!
moment happened. Current owner, Mrs. Lisa
Renee Lucia, purchased the tea room from Mrs.
Lane on April 1, 2005 and it has been growing
    ever since.

    About Occoquan...

Founded in 1734, as a trading post, this tiny
Virginia hamlet hugs the banks of the Occoquan
River providing a picturesque setting for visitors
to escaped mall and city shopping.

More than 100 specialty shops and restaurants
line the streets of this well preserved historic
town, which stretches just four blocks long and
three blocks deep. There are stores offering
    everything from handmade pottery, home
accents, antiques, and folk art. Several galleries
feature works by local artists that cover all
mediums including handmade one of a kind
jewelry. There are even boutiques featuring
    unique fashion items.

With the warmth and charm of a small town of the
past, each doorway leads to another surprise.
